Action, Adventure, and Superman were undoubtedly  the big leaders for DC comics. These titles sold millions monthly and all for only 10 cents. Prices have risen since then.....you have probably noticed. Issues 300-500 added recently. Many Supergirl covers and stories included in this popular series. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
Spiderman  was  the superhero who suffered the same problems as any 12 year-old. In one story, Spiderman wondered how to get across town to beat up the bad guys. I think he ended up taking the bus!

AMERICAN COMICS GROUP
This fun-to-collect group featured three off-the-wall stories in every issue. Art was similar to DC and several DC artists worked here before moving on. Common themes involved ghosts, time travel, and quirky romances.

 FORBIDDEN WORLDS #2 F+ OR BETTER. Major defects are the bottom corner and stains. 2 stains appear in above photo. 8 stains on back side that look similar. Nice corners throughout. Pages are off-white with a touch of yellow  on several pages. No brittleness, no restoration, tight clean staples, flat with natural gloss. Two bumps/bruise on back cover. Beautiful sharp corners front and back. Guide : 66/297/625 estimated value: $325-$400.  Price $275.00

 FORBIDDEN WORLDS #5  ESTIMATED GRADE F+.  Bruise on bottom corner, rust color paper  near bottom staple. Original staple cleaned. Off White paper with creamy bottom. Several stress lines and dirt along top of cover. Corners slightly worn. General signs of age on cover. Back cover is very white with 3 small stains. Beautiful clean low glossy cover is best feature of this copy.
